EuroBOSS Regulations

Overview
The following types of single seater racing cars are eligible for the EuroBOSS Series:
- Formula 1 (1.5 Litre Turbo)
- Formula 1 (3.0 Litre)
- Formula 1 (3.5 Litre)
- Formula 3000
- World Series by Nissan V6
- World Series by Renault V6
- Formula Nippon
- Champ Car
- Indy Racing League (IRL)
- Indy Lights
Any other Big Single Seater cars are also welcome, please enquire if not covered in above list.
EuroBOSS Class
- Any Formula1, Champcar, Indycar build after 01.01.1990
- Min. weight 620kg with driver excl. Fuel
- Paddleshift, traction control, aero modifications allowed
- Free choice of engine make and size
- Weight penalties according technical regs for paddleshift, carbon brakes and traction control
- Means early 90s F1 car with H-pattern gearbox, no TC and 3.5 lt V8 engine will have a significant weight-advantage compared with newer F1 car featuring all the state-of-the-art gimmics on board
EuroBOSS Masters Class
- Any Formula1 car, Champcar or Indycar built prior 31.12.1989 and F3000 cars built prior 31.12.1998
- Min. weight 600kg incl. driver, excl. fuel
- F1 cars must have original spec. Engine, no Ford HB engines allowed
- Weight penalties for carbon brakes and oversize engine in F3000 chassis
- Rev limit is free, means F3000 are allowed to rev higher than 9000 rpm
- Only H-pattern and sequential gearboxes allowed
EuroBOSS 3000 Class
- Any F3000 and Formula Nippon car built after 01.01.1999 and any World Series by Nissan/Renault car
- Min. weight 630kg incl. driver, excl fuel
- Weight penalties for engine bigger than 3.0 lt, carbon brakes, TC and paddleshift systems according techn. regs.
- Means a 99 F3000 or WSbN will have a significant weight advantage over a late WSbR
